The Zenith 28 KL-8 flat-flow carburetor (Part No. B6-02-0018) provides the correct air-fuel mixture in the BMW 600 and operates without a separate accelerator pump. For reliable use in a restored classic car, a complete overhaul of the used, untested carburetor is recommended, including thorough cleaning, resurfacing of the sealing surfaces, and replacement of all gaskets. This will permanently prevent typical problems such as air leaks, rough engine running, and poor throttle response.
