This VDO speedometer 0–100 km/h with BMW and Isetta emblems (Part No. 7-107033) is used in the BMW Isetta to mechanically display the vehicle speed via a speedometer cable driven by the transmission. To ensure reliable operation in a restored vehicle, the dial assembly, bearings, reset mechanism, and scale illumination should be overhauled and readjusted, as used instruments often suffer from resin buildup, wear, and inaccuracies.
