The pedal shaft 5-048 in standard size serves as a cylindrical pivot shaft for the accelerator pedals in the BMW Isetta and ensures a play-free, stable mounting. During restoration, it replaces worn or corroded original shafts, thereby reducing play and noise in the pedal assembly. The included retaining rings facilitate proper installation and permanently secure the pedals against axial movement.
