The complete brake adjuster with rectangular pressure pieces (Part No. 3-071) allows for precise adjustment of the clearance between the brake shoes and the brake drum on the front axle of the BMW Isetta. As part of a brake restoration, worn or stiff adjusters should be replaced to ensure consistent braking performance, short pedal travel, and a defined response from the drum brake.
